Using 1.0.6. Loads to 90% then hangs grabbing 487.13Mb virtual memory
seems to be working but on what? I do have a long history of past bids and
snipes, maybe this. This version does not uninstall cleanly, so even if I uninstall
restart the machine it loads the old data I think, either that or it is exceptionally
buggy. It appears that the only solution is to reformat the drive which seems
rather excessive. I desparately need the locations of the data files so that I can
manually delete them. Once these are deleted I THINK that the program may
load properly.
OS X 10.4.6

Greetings,
For your issue, go to Terminal (it's in Utilities under
Applications), start it up. Make sure JBidwatcher is NOT
running (Force Quit it if you have to).
At the Terminal prompt, type:
mv ~/.jbidwatcher ~/.jbidwatcher.old
Now try to start up JBidwatcher. It should prompt for
configuration information as if it's a new install (which,
more or less, it is).
If that works, then there was some kind of a problem with
the configuration files, somehow they got corrupted or were
too large. If that doesn't work, then there's a more
serious issue, probably a problem between some other app
installed and Java.

That worked. So either my auction files were too large though maybe there
could be a way of thinning them out whilst keeping auctions that I won, maybe
in a seperate tab? then the complete would be ones that I either did not bid on
or the price was above my max snipe price.
Since I watch a few auctions to see what the prevailing going prices are before
bidding then maybe a feature to export the final results to an xml or other such
document may be possible, or would this be too bulky and slow the program
down?

I do have a new problem in that I cannot add new auctions either via add
auction or get my ebay items. If I do searches these are added but not the
auctions that I want to add

Greetings,
This support request was unfortunately not auto-assigned to me as it should have been, so I didn't see it until now. :(
I'll be looking to move off of Sourceforge for issue tracking soon, as it's not working out very well.
