#12 Find out reason for "Error communicating with server"
What is the best way to find out the reason for the
above error message ?
I tried with or without proxy, I have JRE 1.4.2 running, I
disable the adult checkbox.
I really have no idea how to continue.
BTW: great programm that JBidWatcher thing :-)

I have the same problem. Downloaded 0.9.5,
General: Nothing changed
Ebay: User + Password, nothing else (so Adult is off)
Browser: Detect, Firefox 1.0 is detected
Firewall: http-Proxy, Host and User
Sniping: Nothing changed
Paths: Nothing changed
Webserver: Nothing changed
Security: Nothing changed
If I synchronize the time I get the message: "Successfully..."
so the communicatin should work.
If I restart the programm I get this exception:
