I'm using JBW 1.0pre6 on WindowsXP.

It logs in to eBay propely on startup, but when it
tries to snipe an auction, it always fails with this
message:

"Sign-in failed repeatededly during bid. Check your
username & password...blahblahblah"

My login/password is entered properly, and my internet
connection is functioning perfectly as well. I've been
using JBW with great success for the past 8 months, but
all of a sudden, it's not sniping anymore.

I have a very similar problem. About 1.5-2 weeks ago I tried
to sign into ebay and it didn't accept my password anymore,
WTF? I finally had to change it via thier 'lost password'
process. When I did I noticed that ebay has now added
CAPTCHA's to their login and it appears doing so somehow
lost/corrupted my password. Now when I open Jbidwatcher I
see the following on the bottom Status bar:

    "siege@ebay: Error Communicating with server"

Then in my shell that spawned Jbidwatcher I see:

    "Username/password not valid"

So my issue is I can't even login let along not issue
snipes. I noticed in your 1.0pre6 Latest Changes that
states Jbidwatcher recongnized ebay's CAPTCHA and warns
about it but I see no such warning. If this problem is with
the CAPTCHA and not an actual server error, one possible way
around it that I thought of was to have Jbidwatcher display
the CAPTCHA very similar to how auction pictures pop up if
you hover over the camera icon. Then have a box next to it
for us to enter in the CAPTCHA text.

exactly the same problem here. logs in fine and updates the
auctions perfectly, UNTIL it comes time to snipe when it
gets the dreaded multiple failed login crap.

seems like ane xcellent idea but the execution is somewhat
    flawed....

Same problem here. Ebay invalidated my password and I
had to create another, but bidwatcher can't log in with my
    new password. What to do?

    Greetings,
Bugs filed before 1.0 and bugs without responders are being juggled in terms of priority (9 is highest priority). I'm raising bugs filed with a submitter, post-1.0 to P6. Bugs which are filed post-1.0, but without a submitter are P5. Before 1.0 bugs with a submitter are becoming P4, and pre-1.0 bugs without a submitter name become P3.

If the bug is still relevant, and has a watcher (i.e. you got notified when I changed this bug), feel free to bubble it back up again.

Email addresses in bugs are great, but I can't always respond via email. Sometimes, especially for duplicate bugs, I use automated tools (like I'm doing right now) to change status on a large number of items at once.

Thanks for your patience, while I try to pare back the bug list to what may actually still be in the program.
