I just notice JBidwatcher on the console is giving me the following error since *at*least* 3 days (can't go back further):

    Well -- under Windows using Sun java 1.5.0_06 , it works fine.

    But under Linux (note, this was working great since _many_ months and I did not upgrade java), I started to see the errors since just a few days and this Linux machine is up since 11 days. I'm quite positive it's not a "Linux upgrade" (Ubuntu) that suddenly broke JBidwatcher.

    $ /usr/jre1.6.0_02/bin/java -version
    java version "1.6.0_02"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_02-b05)
    Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_02-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

    Am I the only one having this issue?

    I don't know where the bug is BUT I did the following and its now working fine???

    $ mv .jbidwatcher .jbidwatcher.old

    So something within the .jbidwatcher makes the application behave wrong -- I wonder what? Do you want my .jbidwatcher (if so I'll find where my password is stored and send it to you).

    damm , I reported too fast -- here's more info.

    Somehow this time the following item # 300016499646 that I added to jbidwatcher DID show up in the "Current" tab BUT on the console I got the following message: Wed Nov 21 23:54:56 EST 2007: Setting auction #300016499646 to be a 'Far Future' listing, as it has no date info.

    Just a few days ago, my JBidWatcher started to post N/A on the "time left" column. Has picked up all new items, and placed in the "complete" tab the ones that had info for time left, but many others with the N/A were maintained in the "current" side, even when the items were closed in eBay. Any suggestions?

    Now, when you right-click on the item and put "show information" all of the items show: "Listing ends at
    Sun Aug 17 02:12:55 EST 292278994"
    And these items end in about 4 to 20 days... many of them are from eBay "buy-it-now"...
