#1152 JBidwatcher 1.0.2 can not load any auction

regardless what I try:
a) run search through eBay
b) paste auction from browser
I always receive these messages:

that happens with all auctions I try to add.

I'm using openSUSE 10.2 with java-1_5_0-sun-1.5.0_update13-0.3 and all currently available updates.

I'm getting exactly the same behaviour, the errors seem to appear with any method of adding auctions. "Get My Ebay Items" runs through the list of watched items with the same errors for each one.

I'm on Gentoo, and have tried both Sun JRE 1.5.0.13 and 1.6.0.03 with identical results.
