I run JBidWatcher version 1.0.2 on Linux and Windows. On both platforms I face the problem that the item list is not refreshed properly.

The window remains grey. By opening drop down menues the underlying items get repainted. Behavior does not change by iconizing JBidWatcher or opening a screenwide window of another program. After minimizing the screenwide application JBidWatcher display the time left only.

I attached a screenshot taken on Windows XP.

    Greetings,
Do you know what version of Java you're running on those systems?

That looks like either a memory issue or an old version of Java issue...

On Windows XP, are you running the .exe version? I ask because the .exe version requests a memory limit of 512M as opposed to the default (if you just double-click a .jar file) which is around 64 or 128M, and can cause memory exhaustion early.

    Same Exception problem here:

    java version "1.4.2_05"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_05-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_05-b04, mixed mode)

Exception handling (e.g. no preview pics in case of errors) would be nice.
