Every time I place a bid from the JBidwatcher application I receive an "Alert" window that says
"Bidding $X.xx apparently failed for an unknown reason. Check the auction in the browser, to see if the bid went throught anyway."
Also in the JBidwatcher window I see that a bid has been placed, however the bid (whether I'm high bidder or not) is indicated as "*$X.xx" The astrick does go away if I close the application window and then reopen.
And as always when I check eBay with the browser the bid was place Okay.
I have a Mac which started life as a G4 350, and has been up-graded to a 1.2 megahertz prossor. 1.75 Mb of memory running OS X 10.3.9
