Just an hour again I applied the update and added some acutions, but about 7 minutes ago it failed again — and a look at a specific auction reveals another change in title.
It now runs like (at ebay.de):
(Item description) bei eBay (Category Tree beginning with actual category up to main group, divided by commata) (endet endtime)
At eBay.oom it seems to look similar.
I'v got no *** idea whether they now keep it this way or it'll be another »Let's try it for a day or two«.
The only thing I know for sure is that eBay plans to change A LOT at the beginning of September 07 — yesterday I received an official newsletter stating it's going to be »new, optimized and faster«. Boys, how I love you ...
Sorry for the stress, Morgan. I know you had several hard weeks burning the midnight oil.
Ys a suggestion: Wouldn't it be sufficient just to look for a match in the aution number and maybe one other item that definitely identifies the type of page that is just looked up than to match the whole window name? It is not as secure, okay — but if somebody wants to fake a specific auction page he can do so also with the full title.
Sincerely,
Therese

Addition
-------
On eBay.com the title now reads:
[Acution title] - (eBay item [item number] end time [End Time]) - [User's Browser]
This obviously differs form the ebay.de
title structure right now.

Greetings,
The ebay.com site is used for auction loading, so it's the only one whose title format should matter.
The update has been pushed, and if you do a 'File | Check for Updates', it should pick up the string changes. (It'll say that no new versions have been found, but that's okay, because it's not a new version, just a string change for the current version.)
Then your items should update and you should be able to add new ones. If that's not the case, give me an item number to look at.
