#1129 JBidwatcher time fast about 2 min. Can't load new auctions

My son put JBidwatcher on my computer for me & I'm one of these people who should NOT be let loose near a computer alone according to my husband & son who both write code for real time applications for a living.
I'll try & tell you what I know though.
The computer I'm using is a linux box (or so they tell me).
Since yesterday my JBidwatcher has been running ahead of the ebay auctions on time. I've clicked on syncronize time several times & the program says that the task has been performed yet the Jbidwatcher time is still ahead of the ebay auction times.

This evening I tried several times to add two new ebay auctions to my JBidwtcher current auctions and was told on all tries that....cannot add auction...either invalid or communication error talking to server.

I notice also that the red symbol, unseeing eye is next to current auctions at present.

I'm really not too sure what you want with files to attch etc.

Thanks for the service that you provide with the JBidwatcher program. I use it a lot & think that it is really great.
