[Jazzplusplus-user] USB MIDI interface on Linux

Hello, I'm trying to escape one of my old Macs and declining MIDI 
interface (using serial port) I have new machines with Mandrake Linux 
and FreeBSD and USB ports but I need to know if there is and needs to 
be a driver to use a USB MIDI interface on Linux (or a recommendation 
on interfaces to get and use). My equipment is Alesis, Korg, and 
Roland.
Will JAZZ++ do score editing and print sheet music?
