I have a question that I wasn't able to find an answer for on the website ... I know that you can set up a track to trigger audio samples. But how is this saved in the actual .mid file? As far as I know there isn't anything in the midi specification for triggering wavs ... or is there? I know you can also do this in other sequencers like Cakewalk (even old versions) but I would assume you have to save as .wrk in order not to lose the audio info. Does jazz++ have a similar "project file" format it saves to for this? Or does it cheat by saving an audio track as if it were a regular midi track with some extra data tacked onto it that would just be ignored by other sequencers/players? -Keith |
