[jazzplusplus-devel] Jazz (svn 620) doing weird alsa things..

Well, this is different behavior ... take this with a pinch of salt 'cos
I haven't quite got everything the way it should be...ie; I haven't
got a softsynth installed yet, I haven't loaded a soundfont into the
emu10k1 yet....and nor have I checked this on the Deb box...even so, 
I wasn't quite expecting this...

When first starting jazz, it asks for location of jazz.cfg as per normal.
Then it popped a midi device requester for only the mpu-401 port
on the emu10k1, satisfied that and it popped another requester
window listing the 4 wavetable ports on the emu10k1. I will pick
port 0 .....

Then it asks for the jazz.hhp file location...which really should be
in ~/Jazz++/TestInstall/share/Jazz++ but is in fact located in
/Jazz++/TestInstall/bin/HelpFiles....a small thing to fix one day.

Then I quit jazz, restarted it...this time the midi device requestor 
pops up again with -all- the emu10k1 output ports listed, pick 
port 0, but then complains ' subscribe: Device or resource busy'
(even though it definitely isn't, checked with aconnect)...jazz
starts but no note events get loaded into trackwin...

Discovered if I delete ~/.Jazz and try again, this device or resource
busy message is not longer evident...strange...

Mind you, this is a first attempt here with a hardsynth card so 
it's all 'new ground' as it were....I'll get the softsynth stuff in
and running and do a check of what is known to be working,
and then compare results. More later...
