Here's one!  My coding skills aren't right to get into the source.  
But, I can build, package and test.  Mostly right now I use 
Rosegarden for MIDI, Ardour for recording, and Audacity for editing.  
I *really* miss the harmony browser in Jazz++ for writing.  :-(
