As for XSLT transforms, if it's XML, it's easily transformable...
doesn't really matter how many files there are. The archive idea is
fine with me. It's probably slightly easier than cutting and pasting
from a file like this:
<project>
<song>
<track>...</track>
</track>...<track>
</song>
</project>
