Maybe unrelated, but info anyway.  When I linked jazz against lesstif 
version 0.93.34 I got the same behavior.  But, when I quit jazz using 
the window manager controls there was no core dump.  When I linked 
jazz against OpenMotif 2.1, or lesstif >= 0.93.49 the problem went 
away.  The fact that this is happening in an entirely different build 
makes me wonder if jazz is triggering something in the various 
toolkits.  Hmmm....
