Try "Help | About" to determine the version. Is your Delta Audiophile 2496 listed when you select a MIDI output device? Pete |

Are you using the Windows version? yes, win xp 32Bit SP3 Can you let me know which version of Jazz++ you are using? Jazz-4.1.3 Try "Help | About" to determine the version. Is your Delta Audiophile 2496 listed when you select a MIDI output device? Both "Delta AP Midi" and "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" is listed and I have tried them both but none of them seem to work. Open Jazz++ and use "Settings | Midi Device..." and select "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" when prompted to select the output device. 2. Close Jazz++, then reopen. 3. Double-click on the speaker in the system tray that allows you to set the output level of audio devices. 4. Make sure you have an entry that says "SW Synth". If not, use "Options | Properties", and select "Playback" and click the check box for "SW Synth", and hit OK. 5. Now you should have an audio output level for the "SW Synth" entry. When I first connected to the Microsoft output device, the output level was turned all the way down, so I didn't hear anything. After turing up the volume, it worked as expected. For you MAUDIO device, do you have the MIDI output cable connected to a device that will generate audio? I use my Delta 1010 () with this version frequently. It records MIDI signals sent from my Roland electronic drum kit, and plays them back, but kit interprets the MIDI signals sent from the Delta 1010. The Delta 1010 received the files from Jazz++. Hope that helps, Pete |

I should add something the the dialog box that attempts to identify the card the message is referring to. Hope that helps, Pete |
