Hi all. Like other posts I have read from this list, Jazz++ segfaults
for me upon startup. Just thought the developers might like to know.
For others who have this problem, I would advise you that this problem
is often a problem within the program's source code that has to be
debugged by the developers (or someone who knows what they're doing), so
you'll probably just have to sit tight until the developers fix it.
It's usually a programming error, but the thing is that the compiler
usually won't catch it. It could also be caused by a sound driver or
the like. Sound programs and drivers are a lot more volatile than I
would have expected.
If anyone has a fix (doubtful), I would be grateful to hear about it.
For the developers' info, I'm running Debian Sarge (with a few Etch and
Sid programs mixed in) with a 2.6.8 kernel on x86.
