I wrote them, and they work, but there are extra steps required to
generate an application on Mac OS X, and I haven't had time to learn all
of the details.

Can you help Donald and I out by explaining the process and maybe
pointing out how you go about this in the Midible branch. Donald might
even be able to help document the existence of this branch in the Jazz++
web content.
Donald,
Go ahead and leave the Mac instructions as they are, and create a patch
for the fixes you have made to the rest of the page.
