That too way too long, but everything is built. I changed the way I
build wxWidgets so that it generates shared object versions of the
libraries. I went to update the Jazz++ web site with the instructions
and I couldn't access it. SourceForge changed the way the web content
is accessed. I figured this out, but haven't modified the web page yet.
Since I'm using shared wxWidgets libraries, I had to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH
instead of LIBRARY_PATH on my Mandiva machine account. I changed the
definition of the environment variable, but left the export line for the
environment variable using LIBRARY_PATH instead of LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
After I built tex2rtf, it complained about using an incompatible
wxWidgets library due to the mistake. It took me a long time to figure
out what was wrong.
Anyway, Jazz++ built on
Linux localhost 2.6.22.19-desktop-2mdv #1 SMP Mon May 5 20:55:05 EDT
2008 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2800+ GNU/Linux
but I haven't tried to run it yet.
I'm going to try to update the web site with the wxWidgets build
changes, and maybe add tex2rtf instructions for Don.
