Well... you can do whatever you want with the website. You don't need to advise us that you are doing bussiness with the core when you are also an official Developer of it :-). I don't find any reason to charge money or to exchange for something else. As you know, Jaws (mostly MCV) runs over the JawsCore (Application, DB, Registry, Template, Gadget system, Model System, etc..), all the other stuff (plugins and gagdets) are commodities for it. So, charging for the Core when you are contributing to the code?, no way. You will be working coding new gadgets for your commerce website, those gadgets... are YOUR gadgets, not of us. If you want to release them under GPL and commit them to the CVS.. thanks but this is not needed. Also, remember that jaws is under GPL (GPLized), so.. until you don't violate the rules of GPL there's no problem. If there's a big reason of changing the license.. we need to talk about it, but I don't see any need for it.. However, I don't like GPL, but that's another history :-) > I'm willing to donate either time or money to the project in return for > this - money would likely be a percentage of the income I make, time is > likely to be more flexible - essentially you'll get me working full time > on Jaws related stuff, although it's unlikely that everything I do will > see CVS since some of the stuff I create will only be useful to that > client. Honestly, we don't need returns for the code for using it.. until you don't violate the GPL rules everything will be OK. But if you, as official developer want to help us with your business site... just add a little banner so Google can find it :-). But there's no need for it. Also, you don't need to give us money or something else, you are already helping us with MVC and we are _VERY_ happy about that :-) Pablo --=20 Pablo Fischer Sandoval (pablo [arroba/at] pablo.com.mx) Cel: (044-55) 2689-6351 Fingerprint: 5973 0F10 543F 54AE 1E41 EC81 0840 A10A 74A4 E5C0 http://www.pablo.com.mx http://www.debianmexico.org |
