When verifying documents that were co-signed (signing a signature and not the document) using Infocamera's Dike, Javasign gives a "Document and signature don't match" error. Likewise, Dike is not able to verify a document that was co-signed with Javasign (giving a generic "Verifica errata: firma non verificata" error. However, multiple signatures on the document itself are verifiable both ways. At this point I'm not sure whether it's Dike or Javasign that's creating the problem. Any ideas?

I tried verifying the the documents with the Banca d'Italia's EasyVerify software and it also gave an error with Javasign's version of co-signing. I'm trying to figure out the problem but not knowing everything there is to know about digital signatures is hampering my progress somewhat.
