Jat Portal demo version (http://free.hostingjava.it/-jatportal) now includes new AJAX functionality about RSS Feed news (view, details, subscription) etc.

The new Jat Portal version includes several updates, such as RSS news by category and Memory usage monitoring. Also the configuration and installation wizard has been improved. Enjoy!

Only end user functionalities (no administration) can be accessed. Registration is needed.

JatPortal is an enhanced version of Jat.
JatPortal is a Web Application which provides several new functionalities on top of Jat, such as user management, multi-language, simple Content management, Rss Feed Aggregator, pages creation and management, web installation wizard, etc.
Note that a database instance is required (for now, only MySQL and Oracle are supported by the automatic installer).

Java Application Template (JAT) is a flexible Java framework which can be easily extended. JAT allows to build Web applications or standalone application (server, batch, etc.). JAT supplies main basic functionalities such as: High Business Object abstraction; Integration facilities (provided for DBMS, LDAP and open to any software product); Authentication and user privileges management; MVC pattern implementation (with privileges management and page flow control); HTML layout structure management (header, footer, menu, etc.); HTML dynamic contents and facilities (form, report, paging); Logging features; Help on-line utility; High configuration of all described functionalities; Administration and configuration GUI.
