I can't bring up the weblogic console with any combination of java plugins/browsers. Camino and Firefox with 1.3 bring up the webpage of the console (right pane), but can't execute the java applet - both with this plugin do the same thing (Bad Magic Number). Safari runs the applet just fine, but barfs on the web page... sheesh. IE, well, forget it.
AAAAAAArrrrg.
just venting.

I got a similar report about some kind of Citrix
"console" -- "bad magic number" exception, works
fine in Safari. But I never received enough
information to pursue it.
"Bad magic number" usually means a corrupt class
file, or possibly that the JVM is trying to load
something that's not a class file. So I suspect
there's something wrong with the "WebLogic
console", even though you got it working in
Safari. Or maybe there's a problem with the HTML
that loads the applet.
Does the same setup work on other platforms
(Windows, Linux, Solaris) with the Sun Java
Plugin? Do you have a URL that demonstrates the
problem to which you can give me access?
