I just downloaded Camino and I love it. I downloaded the Java Embeded Plugin and have moved the two files to library/internet plugins folder. I can't get it to work. When I go to java and varify installation, I get a gray box w/ a red x in the upper left corner. I would love to get some help. Thanks.

I need a lot more information than you've given me.
Which version of Camino are you using? Which version of OS X?
Recent versions of Camino already come with the Java Embedding Plugin, so you
may not have needed to download the Java Embedding Plugin separately.
When you enter "about:plugins" in Camino's location bar (the place where you
type URLs like http://www.mozilla.org\), what version of the Java Embedding
Plugin is listed? (You won't be able to do this test if you're using Camino
0.8.4 -- for "about:plugins" it just gives you a blank page.)
What do you mean by "when I go to java and varify installation"? Please
describe step-by-step. Also, are you sure that you had a network connection
when you did this?

When I enter 'about:plugins' there is a long list with this one at the bottom:
application/x-java-applet;version=1.5
What I meant by "when I go to java" is this: when I go to www.java.com there is a link that below the "download" button that says, "varify installation. After clicking it, and waiting a bit, it tells me that I don't have java installed or it was done improperly.
My network connection is working.

You still haven't told me which Mac OS X version you're using.

This doesn't tell me which version of the Java Embedding Plugin you're using.
But Camino 1.0b2 comes with JEP 0.9.5+b (which is the latest version), so this
is probably what you're using.
I tried the 'Verify Installation' function at http://www.java.com/, with
Camino 1.0b2 on OS X 10.4.4. It worked just fine. It did say that I don't
have the latest Java version installed -- which is true. But the latest Sun
version isn't yet available from Apple. In fact, Apple's latest version is
almost always behind Sun's.
