and the Java Embedding Plugin can only support versions that Apple has
released.
Apple licensed Sun's JVM, but has also done substantial customization.
The result is a very fast, pretty and well integrated JVM ... but it's
often a version or two behind Sun's. My understanding is that Apple
will only do a Java 1.5.0 release on "Tiger" -- the upcoming version
of OS X. But I don't know if Apple has made this official. For more
