#5 NoClassDefFoundError at build time

I downloaded 2012-10-27 code from git. While building with maven v.3.x I got the attached error.

I would like to train the system for my set of fonts. Can I run the demo on laptop and learn how to train without the skipped build targets (last 4 in the Reactor Summary)? If I can then I do not need the Android projects build fix.

I'll appreciate high-level instructions on how to start training.
