JaValid 1.2 final has been released today. JaValid allows you to do annotation based validation for Java Objects. It optionally integrates with Spring, JSF, Facelets and any database. JaValid 1.0 has been released. JaValid provides annotation-based validation for Java objects.
It provides inheritance validation, recursive validation, group-based validation and more.

The framework can be integrated with JSF 1.1, JSF 1.2, Facelets and Spring; and can be used as stand-alone for any Java application.
For JSF / Facelets it also offers declarative validation rules using xml. You can also easily add your own custom validation annotations.
