Hi, We are trying to use a DistributedQueue. From the Javadoc : "Provides the abstraction of a java.util.LinkedList" We have found 2 issues this far, the first (and worst) being that DistributedQueue doesn't support remove(Object), only remove(). This is consistent with the name (Queue), but not the javadoc. The other issue is with the DistributedQueue.Notification interface, it seems to be copied from DistributedHashtable. Particularly the "void entryRemoved(Object key);" seems strange on a Queue. Perhaps we aren't fully understanding the intent of this class. What we really want is a DistributedList, but there isn't one. Any help ? thanks, Ricardo |
