Does the AUTO_GET_STATE also retrieve state on an initial channel connection? The reason I'm asking is that I've been told that in JGroups 2.2.7, when a member initially joined the cluster, the getState()/setState() methods on the default message listener would be invoked automatically. It appears that the behavior changed in 2.2.8 (now requires a channel.getState()) in order to trigger a state transfer..... Thanks. Note that you can set AUTO_GET_STATE in the channel to true, and the=20 state will be fetched automatically on reconnect --=20 Bela Ban Lead JGroups / Manager JBoss Clustering Group callto://belaban |
