Hi.

Segmented downloads are featured in the newest release of javadc.

If anyone finds a good documentation for searching for files in direct connect based on TTH information, I would be really grateful to get some hints / links etc. Thanks.

javadc3 uses again CVS. So there will be always the newest version on CVS.

sorry for the corrupted release on saturday. It has been replaced with a hopefully working one. enjoy!

Hi. There is a new release (src and bin combined) with extensive unit test coverage for the networking code and partially for the gui code, faster client connections, faster startup, faster gui hub connections, but still a long way to go ...

although the user community of javadc3 is still quite small, i'd like express my apologies for having released such an experimental release on last friday (2004-06-04).

btw, the project is now looking for more GUI programmers and testers. Things to do are

- checking Mac, Windows & Linux usability

- providing better Look & Feels

- making Monitor component look better

bz2 compressed hublists are now supported. a list of hublists can be found from the following address

the releases from 2004-05-20 on will use the PicoContainer (www.picocontainer.org) to manage instance dependencies

the factorings needed to use PicoContainer in javadc3 might have introduced some new bugs, so please be patient and report as many bugs as you find.

As the functionality of the javadc3 DirectConnect client is growing we need more testers to use the program and report on bugs and usability issues.
