Yes. JCE is completely useless with v0.8. I just recently fixed it...

I'm currently working on v0.9 but can't say anything definite. But I
expect it to be released in November.

Depends... If you consider importing GNU classpath into GCJ and
recrosscompile GCJ, then yes.
