[Javacad-develop] JCAD for a new Java Programmer

JCAD Developers,

     I am a Land Surveyor who is laerning to program in Java. I work =
with a variety of CAD and Mpapping/GIS programs. I am very interested in =
the JCAD project, and would like to contribute to its development as my =
Java Programming skills grow. However, I have never used the CVS source =
code system before, and I have no experience with Linux. Would I be able =
to connect to the JCAD CVS repository using a program like WinCVS? What =
is the best way for me to get a version of the program to investigate? =
The program seems to be designed cheifly for mechanical drafting; has =
any thought been given to developing Engineering/Mapping features for =
the program? I would like to assist in this aspect, if it is being =
considered.=20
