Hi =)

After logging into msn, using BasicMessenger, with a hotmail-account (lets call it user1), one friend of mine did not manage to see that user1 came online. But myself was logged into another account (user2, also with a normal hotmail-account), on the same pc as user1 was online on, with Windows Live Messenger, and i could see user1 was online from user2. After some hours of trying out different stuff, i tried to connect to BasicMessenger before logging into Windows Live Messenger, and that made it all work (everyone could see eachother). I then thought that the problem was the sending ports on my pc, or something like that. So I tried to force Windows Live Messenger and BasicMessenger with different sending ports, and it suddenly worked independently of which one i logged into first. Then i tried to not force them anymore, and then it continued to work (weird? :/). After a while, i tried to switch the accounts, so user1 logged into Windows Live Messenger and user2 logged into BasicMessenger, and then the user on Windows Live Messenger could not see the other user on BasicMessenger.

You are probably twice as confused as me right now, but i would appreciate if someone could tell me anything about my problem! =)

Thanks
