That's great! You probably want to talk to Andrew since I believe he
has some understanding of the panel architecture. He goes by AfC on
IRC.

The build system seems pretty old. I don't think it'll even compile (if you
can even configure properly, doesn't look like it's working for me). As to
whether there are any other dependencies, I'm really not sure.
