[Java-gnome-developer] Gnome panel-applet support?

Hi:

I am interested in using Java-Gnome to implement panel applets, but the 
last e-mail I can find posted on this says that these bindings have not 
been implemented yet.

I would be interested in volunteering for this, if anyone can give me 
pointers on how to go about it and what I would require.

I know that it would probably require Bonobo bindings- what's the 
current state of these? Any other dependencies?
