Only since you ask.... my opinion only, humble or otherwise:


1) I think it would be great if the top left link under the logo
redirected to the primary home page, ie directly to=20

http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/bin/view/Main/=20

rather than being http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/ ->
http://java-gnome.sf.net ->
http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/bin/view/ ... all those
redirects cause a lot of delay loading the site and/or returning to the
home page. It's ... bad form ... the way it is now.


2) It would be AWESOME if someone could work out the mod_rewrite logic
to Rewrite from

http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/bin/view/Main/
to=20
http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/

and so deep pages would be cleaner, ie=20
http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/bin/view/Main/WebsiteEditing
really ought to be just
http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net/WebsiteEditing


3) Notwithstanding #2, why do all the pages have /Main/ in them? ie,=20

4) We *really* need to clean up the downloads, sources, and application
pages. They are confusing, and don't show us in a good light. Perhaps
I'll do them up as a Christmas present.
