I don't know of anyone still using 2.10; on the other hand while there
were significant changes to libgtk-java in the last cycle, gconf isn't
getting much love.

As ever, if someone can run your test case it makes it easier for a
hacker to localize the problem and maybe fix it. Recommend you follow up
with a link to the code that's borking on you. [ie, my own apps don't
use GConf, and we run Gentoo, so...]

Of course, offering bottles of scotch also accelerates the rate at which
things get fixed. :)
