Hi Tomasz, The addition of a tray icon widget will be integrated into Java-GNOME by wrapping the C egg library (http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/libegg/). The wrappings for eggtrayicon and eggstatusicon are basically completed (it has not been decided as to whether eggtraymanager will be wrapped or not). The code has not been submitted as example applications showcasing the tray icons are incomplete, though I do hope to have it sent out to one of the developers before the end of the week. If you have any further questions about the tray icon, please do not hesitate and ask.
