That matters because there is an very specific problem space I'm working on and the design is constrained and explained by quite a number of unusual factors - and I don't want to club myself to death trying to endlessly justify it until its gestalt makes sense. As we speak, I'm working on some FAQ type pages to help explain many of these things, both from a "what is this for", "why is it this way", and "why is the code [architecture] the way it is" perspective. Once I can invite people to read those, then it's more amenable to being presented widely. Nevertheless, there's some good java-gnome code in there, and so people are certainly welcome to look at it. |
