I am running Gnome 2.6. As far as I know, java-gnome 2.8 only works against Gnome 2.8, right? How reliable is java-gnome? I am getting concerned that if I get it working and start developping apps with it, next time I upgrade my system (say to Gnome 2.8) I might not be able to get them running anymore; I might suffer of such linking problems again (real nightmare) and might not be fixable for a humble developer as I am. Makes me nervous... Best regards, Hans Deragon - -- Consultant en informatique/Software Consultant Deragon Informatique inc.
