This is a known issue.  GnomePasswordDialog was introduced late
in the 2.4 dev cycle.  We will be issuing a 0.8.3 support release
of java-gnome shortly and this should resolve the problem.  If
you can't wait you can just delete PasswordDialog from the gnome
java source and org_gnu_gnome_PasswordDialog.c from the gnome
C source and recompile.
