RE: [Java-gnome-developer] can't find libgcj.jar

You are correct that this has been a reoccurring problem.
Different distros place this file in different locations
and often have different names.  We need to add the ability
to specify the location of this file as a configure option.
Perhaps we can get this in our 0.8.3 release as well as
our 2.5.4 development release due in one week.
