If that were the case, you'd probably be getting messages back from the
list management software. Do other sourceforge lists get your messages?

It could be something completely unrelated - I had problems recently
with my ISP blocking my emails (even though I wasn't using any of their
email servers, just their internet access to get to my email server).
This had rather strange emails returned about blacklisted domains, which
was wrong.
