Hi,
I'm a java/java-gnome/gtk newbie, I've managed to port gnome-postal to
java-gnome-0.8/gtk2 with success. I have done that in the process of
learning java-gnome but the app is not much useful because of the many
callbacks left unimplemented. Integrating all of the original Postal
functions is beyond my scope, because basically I haven't written any
app in my life and Postal is quite a big project. However I can submit
the patches for this if you are interested.

Well, as I said, I am a newbie and maybe I can help on this while
learning. Which are exactly the sections that need to be worked on?
Are you talking about the TextBuffer example exclusively?
