  It's pretty neat (the Java-Gnome stuff).  With the eclipse plugin you
make a couple of clicks to create a Gnome Glade Java project and click
"Run" and you have a working application in Java.
  One thing that's bugging me is I can't figure out how to get the app
to start without needing to pass the -Djava.library.path=/usr/lib
option.  Obviously /usr/lib is in my ld.so.conf, so why does it need to
be explicitly set?
