This would be a big help.  I could also spend some time with
you and help you learn the C code if you are interested.  It
really is quite easy.

I added a new section at the end of the TODO.gtk file listing
all items that need to be updated as I start a code comparison
between java-gnome and the latest gtk/gnome libs.  These are
what I mean when I stated:
