I've made good progress on '4.1'

The problem you hit with all those classes not compiling was due to a
number of other types specifying GtkObject as their parent, or extending
org.gnome.gtk.Object on the Java side. That's all sorted now.

I made it as far as GtkStyle and then had to stop. Not that GTK 3's
styling mechanism is much different but as we didn't have coverage of it
in '4.0' we probably don't have much to worry about.
