Thanks for your fast answer :-). I will look into that, as I'm not very familiar with Threads. But, it seems is not very difficult for my application. One question about a thread: how do I 'synchronize' the interface with the updated info from the Thread? Do I have to call cr.paint() once every second or so? Can this be done from the other thread?
