[Java-gnome-developer] problem with compilation of java-gnome 4.0.9

In a workstation with Ubuntu 8.10
the compilation of this release fails.
The ./configure command search for a package named
libgtk2.0-dev, that, even if installed, remains not found.
I think this is a bug in the perl script.
