RE: [java-gnome-hackers] version bump

That was not one of the problems that I saw but I do
remember seeing on one of the lists that you needed
a recient edition of the docbook stylesheets.  Try to
upgrade this and see if it goes away.  I saw problems
compiling pango, ORBit, and librsvg.

The real secret for pango and ORBit is to have the
latest version of fontconfig and freetype2 compiled
in the destination directory prior to starting the
script.  You should also make a destination.bak directory.
For librsvg I needed to manually compile this providing
my own CFLAGS.

I was experiencing the same problem, even if I've the latest fontconfig
and freetype installed, (thanks for the tip Jeff ;)).
Then I've installed glib...and pango compiled fine.
